Open Oven Bakery ("we," "us") is a small family bakery in Boca Raton, Florida. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit openovenbakery.com or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to bake, sell, and ship our crackers.
Information we collect
Order and contact details — your name, email address, phone number, and, for shipped orders, your shipping address. You provide these at checkout or when you contact us.
Payment information — card payments are processed by Square. Your full card number is entered directly into Square's secure form and is never seen by or stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation and the last card details Square shares for receipts.
Marketing preferences — if you opt in, we record that you asked to receive our emails, along with the date and how you signed up, so we can honor and prove your consent.
Site usage — basic, aggregate information about how the site is used (such as pages visited), which helps us keep it fast and working. We do not use this to identify you personally.
How we use your information
To process and deliver your order, calculate live shipping, send order confirmations and updates, answer your questions, arrange local pickup, and — only if you opted in — send occasional emails about new batches and market dates.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the bakery: Square (payments and order management), the United States Postal Service (shipping and live rates, using your shipping ZIP and address), and our email provider for newsletters and receipts. Each uses your information only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Marketing emails
We email you only if you opted in. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time — it takes effect right away. You can also email us to be removed.
Data retention
We keep order records as long as needed for our business and tax obligations, and marketing contacts until you unsubscribe. You may ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop marketing emails, by contacting us. We'll respond promptly.
Children
Our site and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If we update this policy, we'll change the "last updated" date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
